Usually, on this blog, I talk about general life in Korea and Korean culture. However, today, I thought it’d be nice to take something from my personal life and share some things I’m doing personally.
Two weeks ago, I went to a radio broadcasting station in my province called Gwangju Foreign Network (GFN). It’s an English operated channel that airs in Gwangju and in Yeosu, South Korea. Many foreigners host on the show; the man who interviewed me was a foreigner as well. The channel has many different programs that it airs. The one I joined was about local foreigners living in Gwangju. I think it’s pretty awesome that this station allows foreigners to try something new and allows them to grow by providing them with a new challenge. I felt honored to be apart of it.
Though it wasn’t for anything particularly fancy, being interviewed was an incredible experience. It aired about a week ago, and I just received my personal file this week, so that’s what I’m sharing with you all today!😊
I have to admit, I’m a little bit nervous about sharing it, because, well, it’s slightly embarrassing. Yet, thanks to this experience, I realized that I much rather be the interviewer than the interviewee 😂. I think that counts as growth, and growth is worth sharing.
The segment is short and personal, but I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless~~!
